The Health, Human and Veterans Services Department consists of three divisions:

Health Services: P.O. Box 40, Walker, MN 56484
The goal of Health Services is to provide the optimum level of wellness to Cass County residents through education, prevention, care, and rehabilitation. Services are provided to the entire community, from infants to senior citizens by qualified staff.

Human Services: P.O. Box 519, Walker, MN 56484
Human Services offers three basic kinds of services: (1) financial assistance, subject to income and resources limitation, (2) social services, subject to a sliding fee schedule, and (3) child support services.

Veterans Services: P.O. Box 1265, Walker, MN 56484
The Veterans Services division provides Cass County veterans and their eligible dependents with customer oriented VA benefits counseling and application assistance, VA medical appointment transportation, and VA claims and appeals preparation.

The position of Health, Human and Veterans Services Director is appointed.
