Disease Prevention and Control

Immunization Services: Immunizations are given regularly at a minimal cost in Walker, Cass Lake, Remer, Pine River, and Pillager. Influenza vaccine is available to senior citizens in the fall of the year. Immunization clinic schedules are published in local newspapers.

AIDS education: Consultation and education are materials are available upon request to individuals or groups wanting information on AIDS.

Cass County Health works closely with the Minnesota Department of Health on communicable disease follow-up.
