Enjoy the convenience, flexibility and rewards of credit card payments for environmental services permit fees. In cooperation with Cass County, Official Payments Corporation offers taxpayers the opportunity to pay permit fees by telephone or directly over the Internet. This service is safe, reliable and in accordance with all state and government regulations. Official Payments accepts Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover Network credit cards, Visa and MasterCard branded debit cards, and electronic checks. The fee for using a credit or debit card is $5.95 per transaction, and the fee for using the electronic check option is $2.75 per transaction. Each transaction is not to exceed $500.00 excluding the fee. This fee is collected by Official Payments, and Cass County does not benefit from it in any way.
