Court Administration is part of the State of Minnesota Judicial District and is located in the Cass County Courthouse.
Court Administration is responsible for the following activities:
- Coordinating all administrative and management activities of the Cass County District Court.
- Ensuring that all elements of the Court system function effectively and efficiently.
The two functional areas within Court Administration are case intake and case management. These receive and process Traffic, Criminal, Civil, Family, Juvenile, Probate, and Conciliation cases.
The Law Library, located in the Courthouse, maintains a collection of
legal reference material. The Law Library is open to the public but is
primarily used by attorneys, law clerks, and judges.
