Gail LeversonNote from the Executive Director

Thank you for considering membership in the Cass County Economic Development Corporation.

Why should you join an economic development group?

To build a stronger economy, sponsor the creation of new jobs for friends and neighbors and build partnerships with other businesses and individuals with the same focus.

How will you benefit from this investment?

As a member, you will receive regular economic updates via e-mail and invitation to legislative meetings and roundtable discussions.  These activities will promote your business in the community and build partnerships with others.  You will be invited to the Annual meeting.  This is a great place to network with businesses, hear an inspiring speaker and learn more about how effective your organization is in achieving its mission.

You will gain partnership opportunities with other businesses and government representatives.

Why is a county wide effort important?

A county-wide organization brings better services to small communities by sharing the cost.  A county-wide organization can provide more staff and better access to services for businesses and prospective businesses.  It is our hope that a county-wide organization will help our local communities build relationships with other similar communities, as we all strive to build our economy.

How will your community benefit from this membership?

Providing economic development services for businesses will improve the local economy.  The specific focus on economic development services will bring increased success to local economic efforts.  Joining a group together with many other communities will provide an opportunity to partner with other cities, share their experiences and advice.  Establishing a county-wide effort in a rural county will bring those specialized knowledge and services that small cities could not acquire on their own.

It has been an enjoyable six years working with the Cass County Economic Development Corporation.  I hope you will choose to join us so our communities can prosper and grow!
