ABOUT US

Cass County Economic Development Corporation is a community non-profit corporation providing assistance to businesses wanting to locate or expand in Cass County. The organization serves as the first point of contact for start-up businesses, relocating businesses or current businesses interested in expanding in the county.

The EDC was started in 1998 by local volunteers interested in supporting economic growth in the county. The organization coordinates projects with Cass County cities to encourage a positive and progressive environment for job creation and new capital investment.

The Cass County EDC is governed by a Board of Directors, elected annually, and is supported jointly with county funding, annual memberships, grants and technical assistance fees.

Our Mission:
WHEREAS, the of the Cass County Economic Development Corporation, a private non-profit organization, which was created with the mission

“To improve the business environment of Cass County by encouraging a strong, diverse and sustainable economy and to build better relationships between business, government agencies and local communities;”

and has established a comprehensive program, which will

“Provide technical assistance to communities and businesses that will create new jobs and / or capital investment providing additional tax revenue for communities, or through the recruitment of new businesses”.
